The whiskey is an excellent example of MGP Rye. Aged in barrel 7 years and 3 months, with a proof of 116.2. Sweet caramel notes in early attack, with the heat on attack pretty mild. There's a lot of complexity here, lots of fruit combining with spice with a lovely long finish. When I revisit with some drops of water it is so drinkable. Sweetness and heat are a great combination. Vibrant flavors, apple cinnamon finish.
