About Us

We have our sights on being much more than simply a neighborhood store selling wines and spirits. Adding value to the community by providing interesting and unique products and services to residents is extremely important to us. For example, in addition to being a wine and spirits store, we'd like to be a gallery for artists, a venue for speakers on art, wine, and other subjects, and a sponsor of wine tastings, wine classes, LIC dinners and more.

We also have definite thoughts on the products we'll stock and on attending to what our customers want. Choosing good wine, vodka, sake, or other spirits shouldn't be a major project, or depend solely on ratings instead of tastings. We'll do everything we can to be sure everyone can easily find what they really enjoy - with friends, good food, on a rainy Sunday afternoon ... anytime. We know that thousands of terrific lesser known labels are available at reasonable prices, and we plan to introduce them, along with the best name brands.

We definitely won't look, or act, like a typical wine store. Stop in and let us know what wines and spirits you love - and about anything else on your mind. We'll be creating a data base of all our customers' favorites.
